  1. Hey Everyone, when I filmed this video almost 3 years ago, I had no idea what I was talking about. Please disregard what I thought was going on. A lighter flywheel with less rotational inertia WILL in fact accelerate faster. Some other variables made my rx8 slower during testing I can only assume. After driving other rx8s without a lightweight flywheel, I can assure you that there is a slight difference in how quickly the car revs, although acceleration doesn’t seem too noticeably faster.

  2. Ive heard this before…..not always a result, light flywheel,s can rob torque too…..not wise on the RX,8

  3. man im getting my clutch replaced at 40k rn. It would have lasted longer if i wasnt trying to learn to drift when i first got the car lol.
