  1. Why is this diagnostic scanning software not built into the car to begin with? We have cars that drive themselves. We demand these heavily tech laden vehicles yet don’t demand the same vehicle tell us what’s wrong with it. I’d still take my car to the shop for repairs. But knowing what’s wrong with it BEFORE I get there is too much to ask? How nice would it be if that 12″ dash mounted touch screen would display what these after market scanners do?
