I just want a simple, affordable, quality OBD2 USB cable that I can connect to my laptop to use scantool on Linux, that isn’t fake Chinese junk designed to trick people into installing malware on their computers. Why is that so hard to find? I don’t want a Bluetooth device. I don’t want an Android app. Just a basic USB cable that works with any software capable of using it.

  2. Do any of the scanners give you live engine info while driving like oil temp, coolant temp and oil pressure?

  3. As a mechanic I make a lot of extra money from people that believe they can interpret the codes that a scanner produces there’s a lot of testing done if a mechanic is actually a mechanic
