. Is it absolutely necessary to pull the whole engine in order to swap a new turbo or is it just more of a pain in the butt to do it while it’s in the car. I’m asking because I have a 2005 Forester XT that I’m planning on doing the aftermarket fuel pressure regulator and since I have to pull the intake manifold to get to the fuel pressure regulator that’s under the manifold I wanted to go ahead and try to replace the turbo with a cheap Td06 -20g
You need the JDM motor from china or Japan the older ones .The North American motors after 90 ,000 to 100,000 miles or 150, 000 kms . The head gaskets and head over heat and get oval cylinder walls … But the JDM motors made by Subaru are better built and do last longer …?
well damn guys quit blowing up these engines… you kinda need them for driving / racing cars lol…
How did you get the manifold
