I’m buying Valvoline 5W-20 restore and protect next oil change. I’ll be using my usual normal oil filter Mobil 1 M-103 I’m also losing coolant, so I gotta do a pressurized test to see where the fluid leak is happening. I believe it may be the water pump, but I can’t say for sure because there’s no visible leak. I am losing radiator fluid from the reservoir tank.
I have the same generation Accord. I stepped up to 5W-30 and my consumption came down significantly. Although, I don’t know how that would affect those up north with extreme winters.
